Exercise is always good for circulation. I recommend swimming for people with joint pain because its no impact but very effective.

Also, ask your doctor before taking, but aspirin is a good natural blood-thinner and can help with blood flow. You just have to make sure its not a blood-clot or something (symptoms are (but not limited to) pain, a hot sensation, swelling).

TED hose help with circulation and elevate those feet as much as possible.

There are many variables that we are unaware of so careful with the answers given. In any case exercise is fundamental in improving circulation; if problems, such as sore feet are due to a structural (bone) issues there are many ways low impact (stationary bike for example) can get the blood flowing. The beginning is always challenging but a few days/one week of effort will pay off and he will find himself walking in no time. If walking is not a problem he should do so every day, early in the morning or in the evening or on a treadmill. The action of walking as opposed to cycling also has the benefit of ‘massaging’ the feet thus also helping circulation. In the end a visit to a licensed medical and/or a physical therapist to get professional advice.
